From hospitality and financial services to healthcare and logistics, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced digital adaptation for businesses across the board, in turn, creating the largest remote workforce in history. And though companies and brands within these spaces have distinct operations and segments of society to serve, one common denominator they share in this unexpected time is the need to reexamine—and likely reinforce—their cloud security.
Even without a global pandemic, customer business models— software, cloud, and container security, for example —are changing in terms of how they utilize and consume technology and solutions. And this requires new go-to-market approaches with cloud security vendors. That’s why Armor has taken a closer look at defining success in the cloud security space. With the goal to further empower our partners to help solve their customers’ cybersecurity challenges, we asked ourselves how we can offer more collaborative and comprehensive solutions.
And what we have found is that it’s not just about solutions.
Rather, success revolves around scaling and recognizing the ecosystem we are part of with our partners. That’s why Armor is proud to share some exciting new updates to our Global Partner Program. The restructured offering is designed to help partners expand their global footprint, increase profitability through new service offerings, meet their customers’ digital transformation needs, and quickly bring cybersecurity solutions to new and existing markets.
Overall, the Global Partner Program offers partners the opportunity to provide customer organizations with threat detection and response solutions that address the full spectrum of cyber risk—intentional and accidental. Partners are also empowered with the flexibility to determine their own level of engagement with Armor, represented by up to three new designation badges that replace the former tier-structure model.
- Authorized partners (VARs and MSPs) receive marketing and sales resources as well as training through our comprehensive partner portal.
- At the Expert level VAR and Agent partners enjoy Authorized partner benefits, while receiving additional training, support, marketing services, cloud and security expert resources, sales incentives and rewards, and go-to-market opportunities with a mutually beneficial ecosystem.
- In addition to the benefits of both the Authorized and Expert levels, partners in the Master level (VARs and MSPs) receive exclusive invites to Partner Advisory Board, joint marketing events, and more opportunities to make more money.
Based on the expertise they want to develop, the benefits they wish to enjoy, and the revenue streams they want to expand, partners can have more control over their journey to success as they experience the power of Armor’s program and partner ecosystem.
Armor is also rolling out new Armor Anywhere capabilities and support for MSPs via our multi-tenant management feature, to enable them to onboard and manage new customers and accounts from one single location. Additionally, we’ve made it easier for MSPs to manage license and billing, and support customers, such as alerting them on any security incidents.
The revamp of Armor’s Partner Program makes it far easier for MSPs to become self-servicing and more strategic with their customers.
And for all partners, Armor has prepared an entirely new training curriculum with new certifications, designed to advance skill sets and cloud security knowledge. This extra training will address evolving business models, needs, and requirements. We want partners to have the ability to specialize in emerging areas, thus deliver greater levels of value to their customers. This includes additional routes to market through the partner ecosystem, as Armor addresses security in the public cloud alongside cloud service partners such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
The reality is that no one company can solve all of cybersecurity’s challenges. And the effects of COVID-19 on the international business community will be felt for quite some time. Already, we are seeing organizations take hard looks at their business continuity plans, seeking built-in security to add to their solutions. And together, taking advantage of our new Global Partner Program capabilities, we can all become more knowledgeable and activate our ecosystem while applying critical understanding to meet these challenges head-on.
