#120 Stage Gustav Vasa Rapier
Gustav Vasa (1494-1560) King of Sweden led the Swedish people to independence from the Danish King. This sword hilt depicts the personal weapon of King Vasa, but it has been down sized from the original: (see item 111) for a lighter stage version using the schlager blade. This is quite a piece, appropriate for that early rapier look and can be used either right or left handed.
