#077 Lord of Milan Sword
This late 15th century sword is attributed to Ludovico Sforza, Lord of Milan. A large fishtail style pommel, a shaped grip and restrained crossguard contribute to the elegance of this sword. Superbly balanced, this sword marks one of the peaks of broadsword design.
Original: c. 1475-1490, Musee Cluny, Paris.
