3 Custom Swords Three swords we created for a unique take on some blades we had in our production cycle that where not needed for orders. We decide to outfit these blades in styles of swords we have had queries about in the recent past. They are offered here at a great price, for one of swords from A&A Inc. The first is a very nimble 14th C knightly sword. The hilt is motled brown leather with bronze wheel pommel and Oakeshott type 1 guard. This single handed sword is a wonder in the hand and an excellent cutter.

The second sword is a classic Oakeshott Type XVIIIa. The hex shaped wheel pommel, an Oakeshott type I.1. and a guard of type 8 are both in bronze. The grip is an early example of the "hock bottle" form with raised detail under the brown leather.

The third piece in this trio of swords is an elegant longsword. A "scent stopper style pommel and straight cross guard are done it steel. The waisted grip is 9 inches long and has a double ring of raised detail under the brown leather at the waist.

Medieval Penny Knives These knives are inspired by the finds along the Thames and documented in the Knives and Scabbards monograph published by the Museum of London. They include the coarsest type of simple work knife to the elegant by-knives of the late medieval period. The range of pieces that have been recovered from these archeological digs is impressive. The knives are distinctive for their utility and interesting designs. These four examples illustrate some of this variety in size and detail. The finish varies a bit as well with one or two left with marks from forging to others finished to a high sheen. They are all sharpened. The knives are pictured with a quarter for size comparison and the overall length of each piece is listed below.

Aged Viking Shield with rivet bosses Red Oak planks with an aged surface and metal fittings. This shield took many hours of hand construction to forge the metal fittings and close many many rivets. Pole Hammers A proof of concept project we did in the shop looking to develop a pole hammer. These items have our regular hammer head mounted on a long shaft with langets on all four faces.
